Area Overview
This is an overview of what you, the goddess, know about your area as of turn zero. It is made up of a series of impressions and historical/mythological information gathered from your people, plus some residual information left over from a long period of your own pre conscious self watching the people of the area. This information isn't meant to be complete, your area is huge and much of it isn't yet inhabited by humanity, and some of it may be outdated or even false, but it is a start.
Your land is a harsh area entirely surrounded by ranges of gigantic mountains, glacial ice, and snow. Forests of various types cover the mountain ranges, and many streams and rivers run through them including some that are rather large. These mountains break up much of your world into separate valleys, passes, and foothill regions and your not entirely sure how each group of people in the area relate to one another. None of the groups seems to be aware that any of the others exist at all from what you can tell.
The Drukpa world is a gigantic cold plateau that seems to encompass a vast amount of your area. It is dotted by brakkish lakes, and covered in cold dry grasslands where the people are able to hunt mammoth, wooly rhino, Irish Elk, and gigantic wild cattle. Sometimes they are surrounded by mountains, and sometimes the wandering bands are near the edge of a great drop into the clouds far below. The plateau continues west out of your area beyond the ley line walls and it too contains tall mountains rising up from it's flat surface.
The Tsari know nothing of the plateau, they are settled in mountain valleys where fresh water rivers run down from far above.. They hunt goats, gazelle, sheep, and many smaller animals here, as well as fishing in the rivers. This landscape seems to be a series of mountain valleys, river canyons, mountain passes, and snow capped mountain, all mostly covered in a wide variety of different types of forest environment. The people's settlements are limited to the river valleys, but they hunt and fight over vast areas. Ingrained in their cultural memory is the idea of a threat to the west that they call the "rude ones" but you can't find those people living anywhere in your area, whoever they are.
Finally the Chang'Yang live in a truly vast valley covered in pine forests, bamboo, and cut into by a truly vast river with several tributaries. This flat basin is entirely surrounded by mountain ranges and filled with deer, giant pandas, and many other animals. The people however live along the river and don't know much about the areas resources or geography, let alone it's relationship to anywhere else. They fish, weave silk poorly, and gather wild rice during the summer, and live on dried rice over the course of a short but cold winter season.
