Area Overview
This is an overview of what your god knows about the area. It is not meant to be a complete view of your area, but is instead based on what your people know, and what glimpses you get from your people. The information contained here may not be complete or entirely accurate, but is how things are to the best of your people's knowledge..

A large portion of your area seems to be taken up by a gigantic plateau entirely surrounded by mountain ranges to the south, east (beyond your border), and west, and with a huge drop off to the north. Scattered across this wide plain are smaller mountain ranges covered in trees, large brackish lakes, tundra, and cold plains. Across this wide region the Drukpa peoples hunt gigantic beasts such as mammoth, wooly rhino, irish elk, and aurochs. Remnant but shrinking glaciers towards the center of this plateau provide most of the areas water, as do mountain glaciers on the interior ranges. Rain is very rare here.

Elsewhere your bluttstatta people are settled in mountain valleys where fresh water rivers run down from far above. They hunt goats, gazelle, sheep, and many smaller animals here, as well as fishing in the rivers. This landscape seems to be a series of mountain valleys, river canyons, mountain passes, and snow capped mountain, all mostly covered in a wide variety of different types of forest environment. The people's settlements are limited to the river valleys, but they hunt and fight over vast areas.

Cultural Overview: The Blutstatta
This is a cultural overview of one of the races currently living in your area. It is meant to give you a broad, brief, idea of their personality and lifestyle.

The Blutstatta are a harsh and hardy mountain society which builds ugly brown clay fortresses along the walls of river valleys and organizes themselves by perceived power, whether it be social, military, or industrial, in the blutstatta world the strong rule over the weak. Society is ruled by the warriors and artisans of the high class, who live in fortified palace complexes built securely against the walls of the mountain, valley, or canyon they call home.

They rule over a foreign culture, the low class, who have lost their own individual identity over the past several generations. These people live behind the city walls, in cells separated from one another by interior walls able to move between neighborhoods only by passing through armed guardhouses that stand in place of the gates the people are not skilled enough to create.

This lower class catches game in traps, and fishes the river shore with crude nets, while the upper class is busy fighting one another for food wealth, territory, and prestige. The lower class also trades between the warring cities, considering themselves to all be one people beneath their foreign overlords, yet still needing those overlords for finished goods, and military protection.

Cultural Overview: The Drukpa
This is a cultural overview of one of the races currently living in your area. It is meant to give you a broad, brief, idea of their personality and lifestyle.

The Drukpa are one of the few remaining warrior peoples of the ice age. They live in small bands connected together in close confederation with other bands as they track and hunt large animals over the vast cold plains of the plateau above. Between hunts Drukpa gather together in permanent settlements made of mammoth bones to socialize, eat, and bond with one another. During hunts the women carry most of the bands possessions and set up temporary homes called yurts for the people to live in. The men hunt mammoths, whooly rhino, irish elk, and aurochs, across the length and breadth of a vast plain seldom stopping except to party with their relatives in the permanent encampments after a really big kill. In times of emergency they eat their own dead rather than leaving them for wolves and other predators to desecrate.
