| ~The Blood State Family Turn 0~This is an overview of the population for a given culture group which can include a wide number of related societies within the same over-arching family.~Cultural Summary~A summary of what binds these different societies together as a single related cultural family. Culture groups tend to share some common, important, values, which may be warped and twisted out of all recognition by the individual Cultures & Societies. All Blood State peoples live by family, blood and clan. Descent and inheritance follow the females line, a child belongs to the clan of it's mother, a man belongs to the clan of his wife. Different cultures and societies handle actual government, and the relationship between clans differently, but this is a defining trait of the entire family. Another defining trait is that clans own all material goods and lands, and act politically. They aren't just extended family groups, the clans are really important in any of these cultures, as is the territory the own whether it is hunting territory, herding territory, or some segment of a city. This cultural family also has a blind spot concerning technology related to the Orempyk psionic powers. They are willing to learn things the gods and goddesses specifically teaches them, but this entire family ran from the trees and mutations laid down by Arachnia. They don't like the forests and the Orempyk members haven't done anything really with their psionics besides use it as another sense telling them where good vegetation might be found while foraging. People making plants grow faster, or bending them to their will are currently likely to be ostracized or even killed as the quick growth of plant life, and it's mutation into the forests that destroyed this groups original homeland are vivid in the imagination of these people. Bringing about such mutation, as shown by increased growth or strange growth, is definitely considered either witchcraft, or the domain of priests/the goddess to cultures in this family and it would take a LOT to change this deep seated ideology. How this aversion manifests may be different from one culture in the family to the next, and also different depending on whether it is a culture that successfully fled the area and remained human or was transformed into an Orempyk society against it's will. ~Human Population Demographics~This is the population Data for a given race within the cultural group, human or otherwise. [All of these cultures are dwelling in really filthy primitive villages right now without the best sanitation, they are all about to develop cities of various sorts within the next few hundred to a thousand years but they are gasping on smoke, or living with piles of trash, or defecating into their drinking water supplies . . . plus some of them hunt some pretty dangerous animals and have accidents from that.]Population/Food ConsumptionBluttstatta
